Sign up from the For Teachers or For Studios page. The sign-up switch offers Student, Instructor, and Studio. Choosing Instructor creates a solo practice — an organization named for you — and choosing Studio names your business. Both land in the same admin panel at /app; the difference is only the default name and how you think about your team. A Student account creates no organization and is for taking classes, not running them.

Every new studio starts a 14-day free trial with every feature on. You do not enter a card to begin. When the trial ends, your page stays up but advanced features pause until you choose a plan.

You can change your studio name, timezone, and address later; nothing here is permanent.

Three settings shape everything else, so set them before you publish a schedule:

1. 1Settings → Organization: set name, timezone, currency, and locale. The timezone decides how every class time is shown to clients.
2. 2Settings → Locations: add each place you teach, with its own address and timezone. A class always belongs to a location.
3. 3Catalog → Offerings: create the services you sell — classes, appointments, events, workshops — with duration, capacity, and price.

Currency is fixed per studio for consistency in reporting; you set prices in that currency. Locale changes how dates and money are formatted.

1. 1Add the class type once in Catalog → Offerings, and turn on its public visibility. It is the reusable definition: duration, capacity, price.
2. 2Add it to the week with the Add class button on the Calendar, the Dashboard, or the Front Desk — or on Recurring class templates. Pick an existing class type, or create a new one in the same step.
3. 3Give it a location, an instructor, a time, a duration, and a capacity.
4. 4Open your public page to confirm it appears, then share the link.

Every screen that schedules has an Add class control, so an instructor can put a class on the calendar from wherever they are. The full recurring builder lives on Recurring class templates.

Until a service is public it is not listed on your page or in discovery, which is useful for preparing something before anyone can book it.
